INTRODUCTION

Hi all you Bullie lovers, we are Cath & Alan Ambler, our kennel name ( affix ) is made up from our first names plus "Jay".

who was a Rough Collie, he was a fine companion to the both of us, and our first Bullmastiff  "Bull". He got this name

as Alan wanted a sign on the gate "BEWARE OF THE BULL" (some sense of humour?) sadly Bull is no longer with us.

We are now proudly owned by 8 wonderful characters who are our life. I will introduce you to them later, a little about

us first.

I am Cath and I am the hands on part of the team, I look after all the dogs needs, from feeding, exercising, training,

mucking out etc. etc. I am the main "Dogs Body" so to speak. Alan is the brains behind the scenes (although I do help

with that side occasionally. Alan says " I have more brain storms than flashes of inspiration ").

We live in approx 2 1/2 acres, which is great for the dogs. We have a large garden plus a separate paddock

which the dogs love to run in. We are in a small village, called Newhall and have the best of both worlds in that we are close

to all amenities especially Motorways which makes traveling to shows a little easier, and we also have the peace

and quiet of the country side on our back door step.

Our dogs firstly and foremostly are our pets, NOT our business. They are part of our family and our hobby. All of our

dogs will happily live either indoor or outdoor in kennels, which is essential at times when you have 8 (and rising).

There is always at least 3 that sleep in the house at night usually in our bedroom.

We have done an awful lot of research and studying on all areas of Bullmastiffs and Breeding since we became

involved with Bullmastiffs, and shall continue to do so. We plan to breed sparingly and only after a lot of planning.

So far we have had just 2 litters, and both were very successful, producing wonderfully happy healthy puppies.
